Mark and Emma Hewlett welcome you to Kilmokea, a Georgian house built in 1794. It has been lovingly restored and stands admidst seven acres of heritage gardens.

Nestled on the banks of the River Barrow this former Rectory offers the ultimate in relaxation. To complete your relaxation experience, Mark and Emma invite you to enjoy the Patterdale Spa at Kilmokea.

This leisure area is a super addition to the facilities at Kilmokea. The indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, aromatherapy treatments and gym area are in a beautiful stone building surrounding a sun terrace. An all weather tennis court and croquet lawn complete these facilities which are for the use of residents.

The guest bedrooms, which have been lavishly decorated, include a four-poster and a Bateau Lit. All have wonderful views over the formal walled garden in which planting began in 1947 with rare and tender species from around the world.

In 1963 the woodland garden was created, with its host of winding paths it provides an exciting display of exotic plants, which are a delight to the keen amateur and the more serious horticulturist. Organically home grown produce, private trout fishing and Aromatherapy massage treatments offer guests a very special stay indeed.
