Carrown Tober House is a Failte Ireland Approved 4**** B&B. A purpose built B&B, it offers superb Bed and Breakfast value for money. It is located 4 minutes walk from the village of Oughterard, on the shores of Lough Corrib. Described as the 'Gateway to Connemara' it is an ideal base for touring the delights of Connemara and the West of Ireland. 25 minutes drive to Galway city on the N59.

Carrown Tober House is a well appointed B&B which is suitable for families, fishermen and all tourists. Quiet, peaceful location on the village edge, take a stroll to the village and sample fine cuisine and pub entertainment. Ample car/coach parking on site for our guests convenience. Complimentary tea/coffee on arrival. Local knowledge of fishing/angling is available and packed lunches are provided on request.

Bedrooms are en-suite, comfortable, spacious, bright and airy with wooden flooring. Non-smoking. Single,double,twin,triple/family rooms available. Power showers, orthopaedic beds, television, hairdryers, complimentary toiletries and information folder/maps are standard.

Following a good nights rest, guests can enjoy a choice of continental or full irish breakfast in the dining room over-looking the landscaped gardens.

Located on the N59 Galway to Clifden road, pass the Connemara Gateway Hotel on the left, and then after the village sign for Oughterard, take first left turn, Carrown Tober B&B is the first house on the right - note signposts visable from the road.

From Clifden, follow the signs for Galway on the N59. Drive throughy Oughterard village. Take the 2nd right at sign for Carron Tober B&B
