The facilities available to the guests on the farm ensure a holiday packed with fun for all ages and preference. These include horse riding with qualified instructors, farm walks, historical sites, full sized tennis court and experiencing farm life on our mixed farming enterprise.

Cahergal Farmhouse is located in Newmarket-on-Fergus, just 5 miles from Shannon International Airport, 4 miles from Bunratty Folk Village and Banqueting Castle and 2 miles from Dromoland Castle and Golf Club, providing an excellent alternative place to stay if attending weddings or functions in this area.

Cahergal Farmhouse is fully approved by both the Bord Failte (Irish Tourist Board) and the Irish Farm Holidays Association. It is situated in the centre of a National Award Winning Farm, offering a high standard of accommodation.

Your proprietors and hosts, Michael and Noreen McInerney are delighted to welcome you to their luxury secluded farmhouse with emphasis on delicious home cooking and baking. Tea and coffee are offered on your arrival, accompanied by Noreens home baking.

All rooms are decorated to the highest standards with spacious en suites. Each room is equipped with television, hair dryer, alarm clock, power shower and king sized bed. All rooms offer magnificent views of the farm and the surrounding countryside.

Breakfast is a memorable experience with delicious home cooking in our sunny dining room overlooking the rose garden and ancient stone walls.

With prior arrangement, farmhouse guests can participate in weekly and daily horse riding programs over farmland and quiet country lanes accompanied by a qualified instructor. The house and riding centre combine to form an intimate environment where rider and horse can peacefully co-exist in wonderful harmony for the ideal riding holiday. (Price Guide: €45 per hour)

Individual or group Hunting Holiday Packages are available from November to March with the County Clare Hunt, Galway Blazers and the Limerick Harriors.

Other facilities include a beautiful garden and lounge area for guests to enjoy as well as a full size hard tennis court for guests use.

A large patio with BBQ area ideal for enjoying a glass of wine while watching the farm animals in the surrounding fields as the sun sets in the west.

Evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement.
